On the grounds of the museum, visitors will find a civil war trail marker, for the neighboring White Oak Church. These markers depict the churches history and role it held during the Civil War. This sign is one of four in Stafford, among the hundreds throughout Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina and Tennessee that visitors can follow to the Civil War Trails sites.
