Cannabis has been used since time immemorial for medical and recreational purposes. Many governments across the world are increasingly legalizing the use of marijuana. The bong is a perfect device that individuals use when smoking marijuana. We have different types of weed bongs that have various benefits. Let us look at the different materials that the bongs are made of;
The glass bong is the most popular type of bong. It is the people’s favorite because it is easy to clean it and therefore provides a pure taste of the marijuana every time individual smoke it. It offers a refined taste since the glass does not affect the flavor of the smoke. Moreover. It is easy to monitor the resin that is building in the glass since glass is transparent. Whenever the resin buildup becomes an issue, it is equally easy to clean this type of bong. The above features of the glass bongs make it the most expensive kind of bong.
The bamboo bong is another favorite material that is used for constructing the bongs. The bamboo bongs come in different shapes, size and designs. Some are basic whereas others are a little complex in design and are sealed at the bottom. The bamboo is long-lasting as well meaning that if it is treated in the right way, then it can serve you for a long time.
The ceramic bong is another favorite and classy type of bong. They are heavier as compared to the other kinds of bongs because ceramic is heavier than glass, wood, bamboo, and plastic. Since the ceramic bongs are fragile, people rarely travel with them. They instead use them in the closet of their homes. They are available in various colors, sizes, shapes, and novelty since clay is malleable and is therefore easy to work with. They are costlier than the plastic bongs because of the process that they are subjected to make it. Due to their fragility, they are not often used but are kept in a shelf or cabinet and are used for important occasions.
The plastic bong is another favorite type of bong. It is equally long-lasting since it does not break when it is dropped down. The plastic bong is the cheapest type of bong as compared to the other kinds of the bongs. These types of bongs are highly recommended when traveling because they do not crack or shatter when dropped unlike the ceramic and the glass bong. One disadvantage of the plastic bong is that the taste of the smoke can be slightly affected by the partial burning of the plastic. Watch the video below for the benefits of different types of bongs;
“The White Oak Museum is perhaps the greatest locally-oriented collection of Civil War artifacts in the country.”
– John Hennessy, Historian National Park Service
This museum exists to remember and honor the soldiers, from private to general, who suffered both in battle and in this area’s camps. Here in the war’s largest encampments many would die of wounds and disease. To give proper remembrance to these brave soldiers, the White Oak Civil War Museum exhibits both military and personal items of Union and Confederate troops.
The many items displayed were discarded or lost while troops were camped or fighting in the Fredericksburg and Stafford County areas.
Visitors examine artifacts in front of an interior exhibit.
